We are now looking for an experienced and motivated CQC Registered Manager to lead our experienced and dedicated team while continuing to drive excellence in care delivery and compliance.
The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, governance, staff performance, and regulatory compliance are consistently achieved.
You will play a key role in maintaining and improving service quality while promoting a positive culture for residents, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care home
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and standards
- Lead, motivate, and support the staff team
- Maintain high standards of person-centred care
- Manage staff supervision, training, and performance
- Build positive relationships with residents, relatives, professionals, and external agencies
- Monitor audits, risk assessments, and care plans
- Drive continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives
- Ensure safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led services

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a Care Home (min. 2 years)
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
- Passionate about delivering outstanding care
- Ability to manage teams effectively and promote a positive working culture
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills
- Local to Hertfordshire or within a reasonable commuting distance (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel when required
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
